Power steering rack

Post by Bux657 »

Hi I need a power steering rack for an 1987 2.8i special,
Problem is I can’t exchange mine for it until after the refurbished one is fitted as my mechanic doesn’t want it using up space in the garage, does anybody know of a supplier that will send me a rack without needing immediate exchange of the old one please?

Why does your signature say " 2.8i Ford Capri laser" ?
The Laser was only available with 4 cylinders. The 2.8i was a single model, no trim level.

Apart from the 2.8 special 😬

But seriously, you havent lived until you've driven a 3.0 injection special ghia laser s.

I had somebody come up to me and say they'd passed their test in.a front wheel drive Capri the other day.

There could be some truth in that.
The Mazda-based Capri sold in the Australian market was FWD.

Hi,
It's mentioned in the latest club mag that CCI have them back in stock, therefore you will be able to send yours back once the new one has been fitted to reclaim the exchange surcharge.

They're £345 + £250 surcharge, by the way.
I assume that's the price before the discount for members is applied, although it's not specifically stated.
