The Ford Capri Laser Page

I have taken off my rear anti roll bar to paint and fit polybushes and there is one side of the bush that protrudes out of the 'eye' on the end of the threaded bar more than the other... Can someone confirm which way the bush goes? Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply, your picture seems to have the standard bushes. My bushes I have used are different and seems protrudes one side of the eye more than the other. I can't seem to find any info on which way around to fit them.

That's odd that they are different colours for each half? And even the two axle ones are different colours.
Was this a conscious decision on your part?
Just wondering as I know one or two manufacturers denote different strength/hardness with different colours?

It was a 'budget set' made up with odd colors. They are all the same hardness. Saved me £20

Ah ok, as long as they are all the same spec.

Yeah all the same spec, Just a bit unsure which way around they go.

I would say just to test fit both ways and see which fits most snugly, (I`d guess long side outer). You`ll probably find one way obviously fits better?

Edit: I guessed right:

Yeah the thicker end of the bush that sticks out more goes against the chassis, i.e. pointing outwards as it were.

Should be 4 washers too that go one either side of the bush to spread the load across the insert and the poly material.
