Same system but cheaper! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Capri-2 ... OSwryVe1UA~ I bought my Sportex Manifolds from this seller and can highly recommend

Sportex sound nice but can be a pain to fit so I've read. Sometime may be needed in adjusting so rear boxes don't hit rear leaf spring.

More expensive but stainless steel and the seller is on this forum (Turbo t) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ford-capri-2 ... Sw1ZJehKRs

I've got a Janspeed that are only made to order now direct from Janspeed. More expensive than above and about a 2 month wait, but they do sound great :D

I think some people have problems with sportex and some don't - I had an issue with one of mine but the second one was fine (granted it was a pinto not a 2.8 though). I almost get the feeling that they're just made in batches and some are fine and others aren't?

I had several clearance issues on the Sportex on my 2.8 but that was down to the way it was fitted by the PO. A bit of time spent slackening off clamps then carefully rotating and moving each part in turn met with complete success.

I eventually did the same thing and solved the problem I had with the Pinto

Be warned, it's an exhausting job if you intend to fit them yourself, but if you insist then best get it out your system now.

Sportex systems I personally think are great value for money and really sound great. They are making them to order at the moment and all suppliers Inc sportex direct are working on approx 10days delivery. I been talking with a few of them as am getting a small upgrade on my 2"system ;)

Got a sportex on my Mk3 2.8 - I don't have any clearance issues to speak of (just go over bumps in the usual careful way) and everyone comments on how mean the car sounds - just perfect. Can't compare to others (janspeed etc) though as only ever had the sportex. -
