I slept outside watching the grass all night at around 3.45am on “ Grasswatch “ I spotted a star in the sky and thought perhaps this is a sign but then had a thought , that’s Xmas not Easter :lol: :lol: nick that’s a great idea I will measure all the holes later

Hey Jason.

Grass seed is best sown from late summer to mid-autumn; there is less competition from weeds, and the soil is warm, and damp from rain. Perfect for seeds to germinate. If you miss the opportunity to sow in autumn, try in mid-spring, but only if you can give the new grass plenty of water.

Cant you just "find" a bit of grass and dig a hunk of turf out and trim to size and chuck in and stomp it down :P I bet Nick has a nice lawn :whistle:

Day 14 what can I say still small blades stating to show but wait “ there was a knock at the door “ guess what Mr Pinto Nick had despatched from the green green hills of his stately home in good old London .

Mate you got me in stitches here mate. Brilliant photos. Glad the flock of sheep arrived OK and they are grazing on your lawn. They look very happy don't they. Did not realise they were faulty mate with those holes in the back...honest :wave: :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol:
