Hi guy's,
Maybe not everyone's cup of tea but here's a picture of my dad's car now painted in Black.

I'm sure it will look great. To be honest I think everybody likes a black Capri, the advice to stick with the original colour was more due to it's rarity (I'd have stayed with the green too but it's not my car). The main thing is that you're looking after it and keeping it on the road, if you ever want to return it to original at a later date you can.

I agree that black Capris look good and Wayne's car looks gorgeous! It will be amazing when it's finished.
Black is a difficult colour to keep clean though.
Andrew.

Black is very difficult to keep clean! Especially when unattended for a few days!

Thanks for all your comments guy's, a serious amount of work has gone into this, the painter has done a terrific job on the paint, the pic below is only the gun finish - it still needs to be flatted and polished, I must admit that even at my ripe old age of 48 I'm starting to really look forward to driving the old girl.

Looking good, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the drive when finished. Keep us posted on progress, it’s great to see another project on the go.

Hi Wayne,
It's gonna look absolutely stunning in Black mate. Great choice in my opinion.
All the best

Very nice
Not easy colour to keep looking it's best, but use decent cleaning products regularly and it will be fine
