Evening all,
Just after a quick pointer please, does anyone have any idea what the ringed switch does please or indeed the thing just to the left of the switch?
Thanks,
Owen

Re: Random switch!
Looks like someone fitted an aftermarket immobiliser/ alarm system at one point. Very popular back in the day. Definitely not standard.
Re: Random switch!
Or has/had an electric fan and this was a manual over-ride, hence the warning light? Is that a keyswitch to the left, possibly from an immobiliser? None of it is standard of course.

My first Capri had a very similar set up but in the glove box what was fitted from new at the dealers and it was the alarm . Under the dash might be a black looking box it was attached to .
