More fuses

Post by Owent2005 »

In my journey to understand the capri’s electrical system I found another fuse box (it wasn’t hidden I just didn’t know it was there!). Does anyone know/have a diagram of what systems comes of it? I have traced the wires but they go into a big loom and it’s difficult to follow each wire.

Thanks,

Owen

Hi Owen
That's the cover for the relays and fuses on the headlight circuits. There is a fuse for each dipped and main beam, making four in total.
If you pull the rubber cover and the wires off the bottom you will see them. It might be an idea to make a note of which wires go where prior to removal.

Thanks, I replaced all the fuses and gave all the contacts a clean up, a little disappointed it wasn’t something other than the lights as that would have been an easy fix!

Looking at your picture, don't forget to screw it back to the bulkhead first as well, the small ring on the left of your picture is the earth so will need to have the screw going through both the relay box and that earth
