I'm curious about the best way to black out the tail lights, window trim, headlight, grill, and side moldings on my 83 Capri. Would it be best to paint the car blue using bc/cc and then paint the black with single stage later? Or should I paint the black and then mask it off and do the blue?

I've seen this sort of thing used before to tint lights - https://www.ebay.co.uk/b/Car-Styling-Wi ... n_89296317
Much easier to apply a sticky film which can be reversed rather than spraying them

I was watching NZ's version of cops and robbers and the cops pulled over some chic ( I wouldn't have said no ) in a modern car because she had blacked out tail lights.....turns out she had removed the lens and wrapped them in black pantiehose (our girls are way to clever ), bastards ticketed her. Fair go , the lens sure was black but when the light was switched on they were still quite bright red. I thought that was a good idea as it's undo-able
