Getting RS 7 spoke wheel centre caps off!

Hi may sound silly, does anyone have a clue as to how to get the RS centre covers off the wheels?
I have refurbished wheels so don’t wanna damage them.
All I got when I bought her was the 3 pin t-piece that unscrews the retaining nut, once out, it just sits there and doesn’t budge.
No other tool apart from a small Allen key. I read that the Allen key can be used to pull it off, but that doesn’t work.
It doesn’t fit in anywhere..
Help most appreciated!
Cheers
Stu

The retaining bolt should have a clip on the inside of the cap so that when you unscrew it it forces the cap off but they break or come loose.
The cap will now be held in place by a rubber seal and you can really only try and hook something - like an allen key - in through the hole that the bolt goes in and try and pull it free. Not a great solution unfortunately :(

If the caps haven't been off for a while they tend to almost corrode into place. I have had to pull them off the wheel by making a hook tool to get in the bolt hole and then try to shock the cap free. Sometimes they can be a real pain.

Thanks for those suggestions guys, I tried the Allen key again but gripping it more solidly with the mole grip and one actually came off! I think also that dirt and brake dust doesn’t help so I might put something like a thin layer of copper grease in when I put them back..

I’m gonna attempt the rest today!

I got a made-up piece of tough wire, bent one end just slightly dat 1/8” .. like a pick and the other end with 1/2” open hook. Then when I pick the lip of the cap, I use a screwdriver shaft as a handle in the 1/2” hook like a t-piece, to literally pull the cap out... it works.
I smeared copper grease round the edge of the base where the cap sits, before putting it back.

I used a plunger designed to clear your toilet blockages.
Push it on tight (bit of grease on the lip helps - as elsewhere in life :)) to get a suction seal, then pull. Lean it to pull the bolt hole side first as there is a locating pin set opposite to that so a straight pull doesn't work.

Well I didn't think it would work, but I was flushed with success :D
