Evening all! Any idea where I can get the rear-most seal for a brake booster? It's a grommet style set up which the actuator passes through into the cabin.
Tried but can't see anything that is clearly right!

Hello Jrooney
I've asked a company in Germany if they have such a seal by explaining as you've described it,
'It's a grommet style set up which the actuator passes through into the cabin.'
They think you mean one that comes with the servo itself therefore almost impossible to obtain so you must improvise.
Nevertheless, they suggested you send them an email with photos of the bulkhead/servo location to be 100% sure.
They speak English so you shouldn't have a problem.
This company deals in most models of old Fords and here is their website:

All the best.

I didn't have to remove the servo from our car and I cannot remember how they look.
The obvious solution is to try and locate a used one.
If you have to improvise you could take a suitable hose/pipe cut to the same length as the circumference of the hole then carefully cut a slit along its length.
You should have a "grommet" which is the correct size!
Good luck!

I have one I've just taken from the 3 litre that I'm breaking.

Hi Caprigear yes that sounds good, is it fully intact? Mine became torn as I removed the servo!
