The Ford Capri Laser Page

Between coats of paint I've been playing with locks. I now have one key that fits ignition and boot lock, having stripped the later and rebuilt after reading about the tumblers etc here.
I've now got the door locks off the car, but can't figure out how to get the trim piece off to allow me to remove the barrel. Anybody got any pointers please? They are the later locks which are sperate from the handle.

you need to remove the circlip, plastic arm and spring off the back of the lock: the front plastic `trim` is just pushed on, tap it gently around the edge from behind and it will pop off. Insert key and the barrel will pull out from front.
