Rev counter

Post by Bobpool »

I've started to put all the interior back in. Just waiting for the Wife to fit the leather on to the Dashboard before that too goes back in.

I thought I would test the dials after fitting new bulbs and noticed the Rev counter isn't working.I have a spare set of dials so I know it doesn't work on both of them.

Is it an easy fix and what am I looking for ?

Rev counter needs 12v + , an earth and a signal wire from coil -. A quick check with a tester/multimeter will show which bit is missing , and then it's a case of finding the fault with a continuity meter ( ohms setting on a multi meter will do )
It won't do nuffin if the motor isn't running
