hesitates/jerking at low speeds

My 2.8 seems to hesitate/jerking at low speeds, especially around 30mph & gets worse as she warms up.

It started doing this after I replaced the Plugs, Leads, Cap & Rotor arm.

I'm not sure what's causing it, hoping you guys could help me out?

Cheers

If you have kept the old stuff replace bit by bit as even new parts have faults . I would go with the leads first . Hope that helps

Sounds like the timing is ever so slightly out - my first point of call would be to check the points gap and that the timing gear is set correctly
I had mine set to 6 degrees and it was OK, changed to 8 and made a world of difference!

I've already done that, to the point of putting all the old stuff back on ! no difference

Thanks anyway

I'm with Jason on this. If the car was running perfectly well before, the chances are that there is an issue with something you've replaced.
The first things I would check is that you have put the leads back in the correct order and gapped the plugs correctly.

Andrew.

If everything else has gone back on then it has to be points gap or sparks gap... I think

Have you had emissions checked? Too rich or too lean can cause those sort of symptoms

Could be coil ? If you have replaced all the old stuff and she’s still doing it you might have knock the timing out as peter has said .

Yes is was a faulty coil causing the jerking,
With a New coil she’s now running spot on.

Thanks for all the help.
