Another fueling question

Post by ThatGuy »

So im in the middle of my engine swap and it's coming up to fueling, I'm using an efi engine on a 2l laser so how do I go about fueling?
Would I be able to stick an inline fuel pump on the existing tank and be good?
Is a swirl pot essential?
Would it be easier to stick a 2.8 fuel tank (with internal swirl pot) in and just an inline pump?
Any help would be awesome as I need to get this bitch running soon
Cheers all

I ran the Rat on efi....you do need either the 2.8 tank and pump or a swirl pot. Otherwise when you go round a corner the engine will cut out.

Cheers for that mate, luckily I was preparing myself to buy a new fuel tank so looks like it's definitely happening now haha
