Hi everyone. Does any one know if the Autodata manual for the Mk 3 Capri contains a wiring diagram that would be suitable or a Mk 3 Laser ( 2.0 ) before I buy one as ive only got the Haynes for the Mk 2 and doesn't seem to be compatable. And would anyone have a wiring diagram for a Laser if it hasn't. Thanks.

My Autodata doesn't have a specific Laser wiring digram, although not surprising as it's dated 1981, not sure if the revised editions did have I'm afraid.

Mine does have them for other models.

Most of the Capri II Haynes manuals had the words ( including Series III) under the title and should be fully relevant. Wiring diagrams for late model L,GL,S etc should be relevant to a Laser as it was only really a trim change.
At some point in the mid 70s there was a redesign of the internal configuration of the lighting switch stalks and addition of a headlamp relay , not sure if this coincided with the introduction of the Mk3 or was a few years before it. Certainly though any late Mk3 wiring diagram for a 4 cylinder Capri should be relevant to all late mk3 4 cylinder Capris.

I have the Haynes manual but the wiring for the wipers and washer pump are different to what's actually in the car and I have not been able to find correct diagram ( haven't looked to hard  ). Some of the wiring defies logic and common sense :axe:

Think this is the easiest way of looking at it - much easier than trying to translate a Haynes diagram!

Hi everyone . Thanks for the help. Don't think I'll bother with the Autodata manual until I can see one in the flesh. The link to the fuses was great and much simpler as said. The project is converting from auto to manual (from a big box of bits ) and was wondering where the neutral start cut off thingy came out of the front loom and where to cut it off/ isolate it. And if the big relay on the engine bay bulkhead was the same. Thanks all, and hope to be at shows on the Kings highway sometime .

Hi again. Well, i have two mk2 Haynes manuals, one with and one without the Mk 3 update. I was looking at the one without. ! The one with the update is a lot more helpful ( but not sure if specific ) but will only know when i sit down and go through it. Watch this space. Thanks all, Steve.
