Yeah , if you also have the correct bell housing , either integral or seperate depending on which version of "e" box you have ,there is a and b versions one has an integral bell housing, and the other is separate, and you would need to get the clutch plate with the correct splines for the "e" input shaft, and the correct mount (or the ability to modify one to fit ) . If you are thinking of changing the box go for a type 9 as the extra gear is good for cruising and economy , 1st gear is a bit low but you can get a kit from Burton's to sort this
