hi just a check question on the mk3 2.8i v6 did they make different front struts or only one ?

Hi Dan,
Are you asking if the front struts on a 2.8 are different than on other models? The answer to that is yes. There are a few ways to tell them apart, but the easiest way is to look at the bottom of the strut. Directly above where the bottom balljoint goes, you should be able to see a short threaded section with a nut on where the insert protrudes through the bottom of the strut casing. The struts from the other models don't have that.
