Headlight wiring block disassemble

After a bit of advice, I'm replacing my original headlights with some H4 units.

I've tracked down what wire does what with regards to sidelights, main etc. Ideally I want to get the pins out of the connecting block that secures onto the back of the lights, so I can swap around the wires and isolate the sidelights to the separate pilot light in my new units.

Can anyone explain a technique to get the pins out of the block successfully. I mean I could just cut the wires and re-spade, but that feels like a bit of a hack.

Cheers
Stu

When your talking headlights there is only one man who knows and his helper . Have a look at this on the forum .

if anyone finds this looking for the same answer, small thin flat screwdriver is needed to do the job. There is a tab on the connectors within the block, just needs pressing out the way in order for it to be removed out the back of the block.

Actually very straight forward.
