Hey folks. Is there anything special about removing the prop shaft from the diff? It Is the 2.8 LSD an I've removed the flange bolts. Yet it's stuck solid. No other words of wisdom from haynes. Engine and gearbox is out too btw.......... That was a palaver......... There was no way I was going to be able to be splitting the engine and box like Haynes says........
TIA.

Re: Prop shaft removal
Hi,
Other than the central mount, there is nothing else holding the prop in place.
If you've already removed the engine and gearbox from the car, I would have thought that it would have been easier to remove the prop from the gearbox first anyway.
Andrew.

Re: Prop shaft removal
If all four flange bolts are out just give the flange a smack with a hammer and it will come apart.
