I don't but you can buy a rebuild kit and do it yourself. Save a ton of money if you're slightly mechanically inclined.

I bought a spare Weber for my 3.0 & then had this feller refurbish it

Its in my spares so I have not fitted it but I was very happy with what had been done as far as I can tell ;)

Did the chap give you a price to do said refurb?
Want mine done so I know its Bob on when I nail it back onto mine.
The DIY kits seem very reasonable but it sounds like he'll send it back looking pretty new

Hi have you had the carb reconditioned yet? As it is easy to do yourself. I did mine about 3 years ago and the cars ran spot on ever since. The auto choke works perfectly still which it didn't before. The genuine Weber service kit for the 32/36 dgav carb was £20 last time I got one and it comes with new seals and gaskets etc. Or I could recondition your carb for you for some beer money. :)

The rebuild itself is a piece of piss it's more the acid dip etc that I was interested in so that it looks nice and pretty...

The specific refurbishment prices for each carb and anything that would incur extra costs are on this page:

Keeps coming about acid dip etc and I keep on thinking about buying a ultrasonic cleaning machine and doing a carriage clock as the brass and parts are cleaned . But after you have used this method you must lacquer the parts . So I wonder if you would do the same with a carb .
If anybody has a laser 2.0 with autocoke carb give us a shout . I bet it will be Martin as I have already ask him to do a small job for me . Must be standard and not broken please .

Yes Andrew I might give in this year and get one as it might save some time .

Note to self
How many projects have you got going ? :banghead:
