Hi guys,
My GL has suddenly decided that it no longer wants to let the front seats tilt forward... Would this be just because the cable is broken or could there be other issues?
It pulls up and still feels like it has the same resistance on the tilt handle, but if I go to pull the seat forward it just refuses to move... It did it once before and I wiggled it a bit and it worked again but now won't go at all,
Thanks
Danny

Probably the cables have gone Danny. If you can't get new ones, many people seem to bodge the break together with a screw type wiring block connecter.

You'll have to load the beer from the other side then

That's exactly what I was trying to do at the time!

Unfortunately both sides have gone

Thanks for this link Paul, luckily I seem to have loads of these in my parent's garage, think the old boy before them was a sparky and left loads behind!
Cheers

There are two cables in the back of the seat you can replace them it’s not to hard I used pushbike brake cables
Last time I did on with recardo seats you have to strip the seat it can be Dunn you just take your time it will take you 90min

As the repair won't be seen anyway, that's a great tip for an easy fix!
