Hi people,can anyone tell me the torque setting for the diff pinion nut on my capri 280?

According to Mr. Haynes, the torque is 74 to 89 lb/ft, and the specific torque of your nut should be checked before removal. When refitting a new nut, there is a slightly different tightening procedure depending on whether you have fitted a collapsible or fixed spacer. It might be an idea to mark the position of the nut against the flange to ensure that it returns to exactly the same position as it was before removal.
