Slide and tilt sun roof

Post by Keith S »

The sun roof on my 86 Laser hasn’t worked properly since I got it. Worked up the courage to take it out today and discovered the nylon guides have been fitted wrongly. The front one is flat side up and flat side down on the other side. Anyone know the correct way up and how should thevrear one look. I would attach a photo but I’ve no idea how to do that here ?.
A photo of how they should look would be great.

If you use flickr that's the easiest way to load photos. Unfortunately i don't have a picture as mine doesn't slide properly either haha. Ayra on here would be very helpful, might be worth trying to search the forum as I'm sure he has done a page on here about taking them out and putting it back in again.

Found his link but the pictures don't appear to be working anymore...

This assumes you have a pic on your computer (for example on your desktop) already -

1. Go to https://postimages.org/ (you do not have to be a member or login)
2. Click Choose Images
3. Browse to the pic you wish to use and double click it (or click once and click Open)
4. Copy the Direct Link in the list (i.e. click the symbol on the right or highlight it and press Control-c)
5. Open up a new message window on here (as if to type your reply/new message, or whatever, as you normally would)
6. Type your message and when done click the Img button and then press Control-v (this will paste the link you previously copied in step 4)
7. Press Preview to see how it will look or Submit, and you're done.
