A 1987 2.8i thay are both red
I had my first capri when I was 17" it was a 3000GTXLR
I have had a lot of fast fords vans all ways put bigger engine in
I also have had motor bikes I have a 1200 Suzuki bandit

7”-15 are a good fit but you can go up to 8/17” I have had both on my capris
But the 17” are a harder ride

Depends on tyre size, and offset. Do you want big diameter, or width? 17 is about the biggest diameter you can get without affecting the rolling radius too much (and therefore gearing/final drive + speedo). Width, 8" is ok at the front, you can get 10" under the rear with the right offset - and as long as axle x frame kit/exhaust ect doesn't get in the way.
