Millers Oils VSPe Power Plus

Post by Fordoholic Nick »

Hi all,

Bit of what might be an obvious answer but I wont be shy and will ask away anyway please.

My stocks of this Millers VSPe Power Plus ran out recently so I went online to buy some more and it arrived in the post today...

https://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Product. ... lsrc=aw.ds

Now the one I previously used for some time was this one...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/MILLERS-Oils-V ... 400&crdt=0

I am hoping the two are one and the same product just a different more recent style tub ? Reason I ask is that the one which I used before (silver tub) actually has the word "classic" on the label whereas the 'new' one I received today (red tub) does not. Looking at the info it certainly seems to do the same and is for pre 1990 engines that used to run on 4star so I am guessing its the same. The manufactured date on the silver tubs were 2016 whereas the new red tub its 2018.

Sorry for a really silly question but as its going to be added to my next fuel top up I just wanted to make sure it was the same stuff but metinks it is just a newer batch.

Thanks chaps

Nick

The description of both old and new bottles read the same so will be fine :)

This one says Classic Mini and looks the same as your new one https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/282567458656?c ... 195&crdt=0

Thanks Andy.

I know it was a bit of a silly question but yep the description is indeed the same so just a new design tub and they dropped the word 'classic'. I got four tubs to keep me going for now :)

All the best mate

Don't worry too much Nick, Ref my Post on your wheel thread.. You won't need to use any additive when the Vulcan Ultimax big valve head gets fitted as it will have hardended valve seats........ Just saying

I've just recently started using the Miller's instead of Castrol Valvemaster that I was using before. I hope it's good stuff as it's a lot more expensive than Castrol. One full bottle only treats 40 litres of fuel!
You've been using it for a while now, haven't you Nick? What is your opinion of it?

Andrew.
