I have the same wheels and on a 'standard' ride height they fit fine, no idea about the drop though as 2" is quite a lot...Olliexpack23 wrote:Hi guys my car is currently lowered two inches all round and I have 7j 13inch super lights fitted with 175 55 13 I do not like the look at all so have gone and already bought some 7and a half j Rs four spokes will 185 60 13 tyres fit these and look right do you think..? I have 175/55/13 on mine as I thought it might rub as well, I hate the look so going to bump up to probably 205s or at least 185s instead.
Here's what mine looks like -> viewtopic.php?f=16&t=50372
And that's without lowering etc.!

I am, depending on the weather. Are you meeting Mark, Phil and the rest at McDonalds before convoying in?

175/55/13 is a very small tyre size. I'd go with 205/60/13, they fit nicely on 7 or 8 inch wheels,unless you want the stretched look

All I know is what Mark told you. Apparently they had 30 ish cars there last year and they are planning to beat that figure. If it's sunny on the day, it will be a good day out.

That extra half inch makes such a massive difference to the four spokes...... with the retro white firestone lettering they look fantastic in my humble opinion

Haha thanks, that's the main reason I went with 175s to get Firestones and do the writing but was a proper pain and peeled off in the end which is annoying but need to find s that have nice writing on so I can change themtimfromull wrote:That extra half inch makes such a massive difference to the four spokes...... with the retro white firestone lettering they look fantastic in my humble opinion

Hy guys! What do you think about 7j 13inch wheels with minus 6 ET. Do they fit normally? I think about 205 60 13 tyre size...
Thanks, Rene

Welcome to the forum!
Those wheels should fit your Capri as they are the same size with almost identical offset as the standard 2.8 13 inch wheels. It's the same tyre size too.
If you are in any doubt, put the details into this website:
