Disaster!! My recaro badges have fallen off!
both have come off my front seats, they seem to have snapped off from the long plastic plug bits . Once i dig the plugs out from the seat and attempt to repair them does anyone know how they reattach? do i just click them back in? or do they require gluing/taking the seat apart etc
thanks

Re: Recaro badges
The ones I have are like this, the long pins push through the seat material and are bent round to clamp them in place

Re: Recaro badges
Can't you reach up behind the cushion from the side/bottom where the lumbar pad would be inserted?
Assume you have normal Capri fitment Recaros?

Re: Recaro badges
Hi,
As Noel says, you should be able to slip your hand behind the backrest to retrieve the pins. They are made of metal, not plastic.
Reattaching them with any great success could be difficult. You could always try gluing them in position if you don't fancy forking out for replacements.
Andrew.

Not a bad shout, rather than pull the pins out and try gluing them back on then pushing it in, just glue the badges straight onto the seat?
Cheers

Re: Recaro badges
brill cheers, i didn't realize you get your hand behind the cushion, first time ive attempted this job. will give it a go.
i may glue them straight on if i cant repair it, although would that cause the seat to start sagging? looked as if the badges pull the cushion tight to the seat.

Hi,NaisiaN wrote:looked as if the badges pull the cushion tight to the seat.
The pins of the badges only go through the fabric and foam, not into the actual metal back support.
