The Ford Capri Laser Page

Can anyone tell me if a mk1 Capri steering rack is the same as a Mk3 , just that local auction has 2 x Mk1 racks for grabs..............they look the same

I've looked at Tickover spares and the Capri club and they don't state that their racks are model specific so I guess the racks are all the same. Don't know if there may be ratio differences between them or not but it seems they will physically fit.

All of the manual racks are the same so if it's listed for MK1 it will also fit MK2/3.
The power racks will fit 2.8i and 3 litre.
