Hi all,
I need some help/advice, I have a mk3 Capri with an xpack fitted. I am wanting to know the largest wheel diameter that I can fit on the car. I have changed the front and rear brakes and because of this I will need to run with wheels no smaller than 17”. Has anyone fitted 18” (without having to cut out inner wings and floor pans?

Wheel diameter doesn't matter. What matters is what tyres you put on, and the width and offset you use. E.g. with the same width and offset, and an appropriate tyre, it will have almost identical proportions :

You can get away with a fair bit more inboard width, but not a lot out to the arch. I wouldn't increase the overall rolling circumference too much though as it'll mess up handling, speedo etc. Definitely don't decrease it as it'll look crap!
