Won't rev past 2000rpm under load

Hi all. I'm having a problem where the capri is revving fine when idle but under load it doesn't want to rev past around 2500prm. Before I start panicking (MOT coming up) is there anything I should be looking out for.

Cambelt could've jumped a tooth.

Crack In dizzy cap

Dirt in dizzy

Points crap

Plugs fouled

Plug Leads

Fuel Pump Diaphram - oo err Mrs

Ignition first but if that can't cure it suspect choke flaps (ooh err) stuck in closed position.

I see a thread conversation akin to Daisy's air leak at CoC a few years back coming on........

I think it is solved now. It seems that the butterfly flaps were sticking slightly. It's still not great on power but then again it could do with a half decent tune up so i'm sure all will be fine. Got it MOT'd today and it is finally back on the road.
