Hose connections at the tank

Hose connections at the tank
If I replace the rubber hoses up there, will fuel gush out? Anyone know if they're 6mm?

6mm internal I believe. I think you want R9 rated pipe.
If your tank is not full (which it isn't from you other post) petrol shouldn't gush out, especially if you jack the car up on the connection side as the fuel will shift over.

Thanks. I've ordered some 6mm and 8mm R9 which is hopefully arriving tonight.The tank is *possibly* 2/3 full - but really not sure! That's what it's reading on the gauge but I was wondering about the voltage regulator issue (temp gauge reads right so doubt it)
