Machine shops in Reading

Post by Ghia15 »

Hi all.

As stated I am looking for a machine shop in or around Reading to undertake a little work for me.

I need to get my new rear hubs and disks turned down slightly so they will mate together for my rear disc conversion.

I also need some inserts made for my callipers as the bolts I will be using to mate them to the struts will be slightly smaller than the originals and I dont want there to be any movement from the calliper.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks.

If you can't find one in Reading, which is most unlikely, I know one in High Wycombe who would probably be able to help you.

High Wycombe is an option as not too far away.

I don't mind travelling somewhere for a quality job.

Thanks

Their details are:-

C K Engineering
Coronation Road
Cressex Business Park
High Wycombe
HP12 3RP
tel 01494 530909

I've used them for years for engine work, head skimming, unleaded conversions etc and they have skimmed discs for me.

They are at the Reading side of Wycombe too, just off the M40 junction at the top of the Marlow bypass.

Thanks.

Will give them a ring and see if they can sort out the machine work for the hubs and discs.

Hopefully back on the road soon.
