Hi folks , just stripped off my strut tops ,and welded on new ones , what should I paint them with to stop re rusting until I get the car painted end off the year , rust proofer,primer or other , thanks .

I'd use Zinc 182 primer. Acts like a sacrificial coating and does stop rust from coming back. May pay to get an aerosol of correct colour for your car and give it a coat on top of the primer then that should do until you get the paint done.
