I asked this question before but can not find your answers I have mk 1 capri 1600 cc facelift the electronic ignition sometimes gives trouble in that I can not start the car even by towing it, it appears not to produce a spark , then suddenly it will start ,, I think the problem is faulty el ignition system, can anyone recommend a good quality electronic ignition system. regards michael

Nick fitted it and seems to be pretty pleased and a few other members have also fitted the same kit with good results

I can recommend a good ignition system.....We call it "points"! Providing they are maintained properly they don't fail.

Agreed! :D The only complaint I seem to see about points is that you have to set them, seldom that they ever actually fail.
