I have a 2.0 Laser which I bought without radio and (I think) rear speakers, being as there is wires dangling on either side of parcel shelf as pictured! Am I right in thinking these are missing? And if they are, where is best get replacements?

The radio appears to have been removed incorrectly, that is, by NOT dropping the lower dash and then removing the facia as you should!! The wires I have are as shown. Can someone tell me where they go on the back of the cassette/radio? I can guess the earth, but the rest?

Also, the side trim is threatening to come off as pictured. Is the front fixing for this behind the rear quarter door card?

Boot spoiler was fitted poorly as a result of the inner metal strip being rusty and not attaching in all six places. Lower screws are rusted. I ma fter a replacement spoiler. How is best to remove these screws, just VERY CAREFULLY drilling them out?

It looks as though the fascia has been cut so that a modern sized radio will fit in. If you intend to refit an original radio, you will have to buy a replacement fascia. You should definitely have speakers fitted in your parcel shelf supports.
Try Martin at Caprigear for the fascia and speakers.

And can anyone advise on which wires are what for the radio? I know the two pairs of brown and red wires are the LH and RH speakers, and the red wire comes from the ignition switch on the column. Then there's that white wire coming from behind the glove box, from the LH side of the dash; is this for the ariel? And obviously the big black earth lead.
Is that all there is?

Does the larger spade on the bottom right corner of the radio for the red feed from the ignition?
And is the smaller spade beside marked "ariel" it for the white wire?
