Afternoon all ,Given like some of you ,my car only goes out at the weekends ,March to October ,which is the best battery for the job?
I still have the "tab" type leads ,Would appreciate a battery make and number

The 097 battery is standard for the 2.8, and should be man enough for the job.
They're still easy to obtain with flat terminals too.

I haven't bought any of those brands as a car battery, so I won't comment on which is the best for the Capri. However, I did buy a Powerline battery for the lawnmower and it's still going strong 4 years later.

Thanks Andrew Iguess theyre all much the same unless you want to fork out big bucks,Mine suffer through lack of use.The one that's on has just started playing up after 3 +1/2 yrs
