Hi Steve
Sorry to hear you are still having problems.
The only time I have seen something like this before is on a car that was covered with a car cover.(It was a decent one as well)
It was like the cover had caused the car to sweat under the wax/polish.
The car was left uncovered and eventually the marks faded.
We have got some hot weather coming, leave it out on direct sunlight and see what happens.

Again, the wax or polish is the common factor. It has been in every case I know of with these type of spots/stains.oldfords wrote: It was like the cover had caused the car to sweat under the wax/polish.

Re: Paint problem
Hi Jeff. Not had a cover on it mate. Been like it since Dave H gave it a go. Been trying ever since to sort it but he just said it was because I had a cover on it but I didn't.
Had a bash with degreaser and G3 last night and it's looking promising. Got to get it ready for tomorrow!

Re: Paint problem
Brilliant, it does always seem to help. Don't forget to wash it with the body prep (or similar) at some point and I found the WD-40 trick worked a treat too after that. Then just forget about waxing.Stish704 wrote: Had a bash with degreaser and G3 last night and it's looking promising. Got to get it ready for tomorrow!
Please do let me know how you get on.

Re: Paint problem
Well, it's not great. A friend of mine is going to have a go. He's going to 'mop' it? Oh well, it's what he does so see how it goes.

Re: Paint problem
Would be interesting to see how that goes, hopefully he will have plenty of experience. Personally I would continue with the methods of removal already described.
