2.8i throttle sticking?

Great stuff Danny, let's hope that's all it needed and it is a permanent fix.

Have you checked the fitting on top of the throttle housing, these are very prone to wearing and creating a problem.

If you mean the bit that attaches to the pedal, I did have a look at it and it all appeared to still be OK and connected, possibly a bit loose I thought though... The cable is only as old as the carb (maybe 3-4years?) so hopefully is just a case of the linkage being gummed up but will check this if it happens again
