Do it.....but you need to think a bit first. You bolt on the DGAS and the car will run and drive. But to get the benefit you need to get it to a rolling road to be properly jetted to suit your engine (£££). But you probably won't notice the difference much - You are only getting a little bit more fuel air mix into the engine by virtue of bigger carb barrels and the fact that both butterflies open together. You'll lose the kick you get when the second barrel on the 32/36 opens. It's just gonna be smoother power delivery.

So you should think about other mods. The carb is the last thing you change when looking for performance. Cam change, head skimming etc etc all should come before carb. Each of those things will require carb re-jetting (rolling road £££) so why not save your money up and do the whole lot together.

I have one on mine, probably a bit more thirsty than standard set up but I've never had it done properly just tinkered myself. I'm happy with it, I'm sure it picks up better at motorway speed than a 32/36.

As far as twin choke carbs go I think the 32/36 suits the pinto better than the 38 dgas. It's only my personal opinion, but I liked the progressive-ness of the 32/36. Depends on your tune really, but a standard or mild tuned pinto I'd go with the 32/36 no question.
