East kent trim carpets - any good?

Post by capri_sam »

As above really, has anyone fitted them and how are they? Do they need any trimming or alteration to fit?

Bit pricey but i reckon it's not bad value when considering it's a pretty specialist item, can't be all that much demand for capri carpets!

Hi,
That's just it. It's a specialist item with a low turnover. Considering costs involved, I would say they're reasonable value for money.

You could always chance your luck with replacement second hand carpets. There definitely wouldn't be any issues with fitting then.

All the best,
Andrew.

Precisely it Andrew. I don't mind paying fair money for an item if it keeps the line (and so the spares industry) alive. Can't imagine they make much off each one!

Only problem with second hand is that I need black and full console - and that's a hard combo to come by. When they do, they're often not much less than the brand new item!

I did try dying an old grey carpet black with specialist stuff. So for the last few years the car has been sporting a rather fetching dark plum colour floor
