change from single carb to twin choke
hi can someone point me in direction for diagram for air pipes from bottom of manifold , have carb and manifold from sierra connected but not running right , could possibly have the air pipes connected wrong or maybe I'm missing something , thanks in advance
Re: change from single carb to twin choke
No airpipes from bottom of manifold. It has a thermal device underneath which diverts vacuum from somewhere to.....somewhere else when hot - but you can bin all that if you just put a standard DGAV on, minus the emission stuff. You only need a pipe from the spigot at base of carb to work the vacuum advance on dizzy; a hose from the RH side of msnifold to the servo; ideally a connection to the crank vent pipe (but you can blank off and vent to air if you want.) Oh, and a vacuum pipe to power the thermostatic air intake, if you still have that.
