Hi, I've recently brought a Mk 3 and I wan't to get it re-sprayed and new wheels etc. Does any one know who or where I can get a mock up of different paint jobs and wheels?
I've got a few different ideas in my head, but I can't decide which will look best.
Cheers
Josh

It's easy to decide, keep the colour as original

3d is very specialised. Wouldn't know where you'd start to look for someone able to do it - but maybe try looking forum a forum about 3d rendering or technical side of computer game graphics.
An easier option, would be to take some pics of your car, and upload them to a friendly car forum with people that know how to photoshop stuff. You could try posting here (I'd be happy to give it a go if I have enough time) or otherwise retro rides is usually a good port of call.

I downloaded sketchup and then downloaded a model of a Mk3 and changed the colour of that. You can also download other wheels too. Sketchup is very easy to use and it's free.

Sketchup doesn't give a great finish for deciding colours. 3D stuff is pretty specialised and expensive.
Drop me a PM if you want, I can do Photoshop and Sketchup stuff, think you'd be better finding photos of Capris in different colours and Photoshopping the wheels on to be honest mate.
