2.8i cooling hoses help!!!!

Can anyone help me!

I removed my engine to give it a full overhaul, and I've just put it back in.....BUT For the life of me I can't remember where the hoses go in relation to the oil cooler ring.

Can someone take a quick look at their 2.8i and explain which way they go.

I got the hose from the thermostat housing to the expansion tank, and of course the top and bottom radiator hose.

I just need to know where the hoses from the heater matrix go, and where the hose from the T piece near the expansion tank.

On mine the hose from the heater matrix goes to the top one of the oil cooler, and the bottom one of the oil cooler to the T-piece near the expansion tank.
At least I hope so, that's where mine go!
I think that's what you mean, if you mean something else I will have another look.

That's perfect buddie!

the Haynes says the cooler pipes should be facing downward, but I'm sure when I took mine off the were pointing up, plus my hoses won't reach underneath.

Hi,
The Ford workshop manual also says that the oil cooler should be angled so the outlet/inlet point to around 5 o'clock (20 degrees +/- 5 degrees from vertical), but my hoses won't reach that far either! Mine point to around 7 o'clock.
By the way, the other hose from the matrix goes to the auxiliary air device near(?) near the water outlet at the front of the engine.
