Hello all,
My capper is getting hot, top of the Rad and expansion bottle are hot and pipes feel under pressure. Bottom of rad pipe cold
When I had a look in the part where the sender goes (white ring) there was no coolant.
The engine was rebuilt last year due to the head going and at the same time I had the water pump replaced and the radiator re-cored, the caps are new and the right way round, the thermostat is the correct one.
I'm getting at the end of my tether with her lol I need some help

Re: 2.8 cooling woes
is the water circulating through the radiator? I know it's been re-cored but it might be worth checking if you have not already.

Re: 2.8 cooling woes
Air lock.....solution is to let it blow! ie let it get hot and then take expansion cap off, have a cloth around your hand! It'll blow everything out like a whale, then refill it - airlock gone.
