Reading between the lines I thinks that a rationalising of the system on CP might well be a good thing. It isn't anything to do with a judgement of Neil's character in particular, or possibly? any of the other moderators, but an overall and worthwhile action to lighten the atmosphere which we should support. Hopefully the end will justify the means; which appear to have been familiarly blunt from the admin side of things.
To all admin out there: WE DO LIKE TO HAVE SOME IDEA OF WHAT'S GOING ON IN OUR WORLD - PLEASE HAVE THE GRACE TO KEEP US INFORMED, BEFORE CONCLUSIONS ARE JUMPED-TO AND OPINIONS FORMED.
I will continue to follow both forums and hope that everyone will remain positive. Many of us are members of both sites so any negativity will only come back at ourselves.

Have Fun.

Point well made glyn. I'd loved to have gone to COC but it was costing me a few bob to get a ferry and petrol etc. But I make it my mission to go next year.

Cashy is a top bloke really and hopefully he can calm down the 'this and them' thing.

I do like a bit of rivaly though...but in a positive way.

can we just let it lie now... It's all getting very boring and quite frankly embarrasing. All this "us and them" is for 8 and 9 year olds in the school playground.

Neil: Just because there is a link here, doesn't mean there is an obligation for a reciprocal link there. That is a matter for the site owners, not the users.Image

CP vs Laser Page

Post by standard_Man »

I love the Rivalry, it is just crying shame that they do not come to shows and and have a stand. If they could get half of their 512 members to a show look at what a show it would be. Them would dwarf US, I think it would so help the scene though for us all to sit down and have a beer and throw doughnuts at each other.

Should I put up the Challenge for Milton Keynes

Well I took part in the Capri Power stand at CF Show. Where was the Laser page one? Surely if you're gonna have a dig at them, make sure you had a stand at the biggest classic Ford show of the year.
