rear bottom corners

rear bottom corners

does anyone know what the rubber plugs are for on the top of the rear bottom corners where it meets the rear vallance , there is one in each bottom rear corner and there the same height as the rear bumper on the rear , i have asked at the capri club but now one knows what they are in there for . i have bought a pair of rear bottom corners and there is know hole in them for the plugs to push back in after fitting them .
