okay this is another of my looney problems.
recently my engine went all strange.
i started her up cold and tried to take off up my drive only it stalls.
im thinking okay she is just cold ill give her a little more but stalls in first at 3k revs
its not uphill or a locking break issue.
its a absolute total loss of power when cold
the mad thing is she idles perfectly without missing a single beat and when half way to full temp runs like a god again.
she is pulling a perfect 100 mph max and accelerating hard flawlessly.
again idles flawlessly when warm too.
starting isnt an issue.
even when unstarted for a whole cold rainy day only two pumps on the accelerator and half choke a second on the key and bam instant perfect idle after a fiddle with the manual choke.
yet again it is just pure dead when freshly started barely able to get out the drive or out a junction.
when i suffer this power loss it jolts about on the accelerator and takes up to 3.5k revs before a gear change.
but if i put my foot on the clutch just before a stall it will bring itself to a perfect idle again.
have i gone mad?
is my head playing tricks on me?
or is it my ride just being tricky?
anyone else had this on the 1.6?
also it used to drive just fine when cold not like a god but driveable.
