what is the difference between a 2.8i and a 2.8i special
can this be run on unleaded petrol
it is c reg so not sure if it is 85 or 86 till i get logbook back

Doesn't matter if it's a 2.8i or a special, the fuel will be the same, unleaded with an additive.

As far as I am aware the special had a couple of upgrades - lsd axle, 5 speed box, half leather interior. Other than that I think they were much the same but I expect someone can clarify.

As the add said at the time: "Wheels, Paint, Leather, Limited Slip- that's what makes the Capri Injection Special"
The 5 speed box was brought in for 83 - I have a 5 speed Injection non special.
If its a C plate it will be a Special as the range was rationalised in 84 (B plate onwards) to have purely the 1.6 & 2.0 Laser and the 2.8i Special.
