Gaz Gold or AVO coilovers? Dipping at SPL ltd?

Hi,
Needing help, changing the suspension on the old girl and would like to know what would be the best people to go to. I was thinking about Gaz Gold or AVO coilovers on the front with single leads on the back. Could anyone tell me who makes the better shocks? Also was planning to have the car dipped at SPL ltd. Has anyone gone down this route yet? If so could you pass on your experience and how the car was after?

I couldn't tell you which is better but I currently have AVO Adjustable shock absorbers all round on my Mk3 and am very happy with them. About the acid dipping though there's a thread on another forum about a Capri being dipped at SPL and the pictures don't look good.. rust coming out of the seams everywhere, sediment from the acid dip which hasn't been removed and when it is there's rust underneath... and the customer service doesn't sound that great either!
I've had no direct dealings with SPL and just passing on what I've read..

Im currently running on the GAZ Gold coilovers on the front.

I must say they handle absolutely spot on, never had a problem when things start getting a little serious, even on the track. Yet if you are after a compromise between comfort and performance, do not get them. Any pot hole and speed bump you come across will rattle your teeth out.

Depends on what you intend on using the car for though, like I said though I have never had a problem with them from a performance point of view.
