I was tempted by a set of 7j ET35 some while back but measured the gap between the front strut and and tyre on the existing 7j ET5 and thought better of it. You could always put some spacers in I guess :)

Spacers could work, but Ive always been a bit weary of them - theres more pressure on the hub... Hmmmmmm. Will have to do the same, measure up and see whats what.

et or offset is a night mare, no one seems to be able to tell us what fits and what doesnt.

i kinow that the germans are running x packs cars with et 36 but not sure if thats with spacers or not.

put the wheels on and let us know, at least that rules out et40.

im looking at some et 20 wheels but no one can tell me if they will fit

They will need 25mm spacers and then just be careful with tyre selection to clear the front struts. Its not ideal. Wheels intended for front wheel drive cars with high offset and no dish look a bit weedy on capris in my opinion.

Appreciate the input guys. I know what you mean about dish Andy, I have some 7x13 Starmags on my car atm and I love them. Plus the ones I got hold of have no dish, and worst of all theyre chrome... If they were to go on my car they would change colour first.

Tempting to just clean them and Ebay them tbh, they are genuine Ford alloys. Must be worth £50 to some Ricer. I only paid £16.
